It’s official! It’s officially bank holiday tomorrow, which means that next week we’re going to be back to normal, albeit with a bit of a different attitude.
Although it’s been almost two months since we last played, there’s still a lot of the game that hasn’t been made public yet. We’ve been playing on the Xbox One, but for some reason the Xbox One isn’t the same as the PC or PlayStation 4 versions of the game. This is also not a huge concern for all of us who still play the game on the Xbox One, but it’s a little silly to take the Xbox 360 version of the game for granted.
The reason is because, as the game’s publisher, EA, is releasing a patch to update the Xbox One version of the game to the PC and PlayStation 4 versions. And, as of right now, the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game are still missing features that are planned to be released with the patch.
The game is set to release in spring 2021, so this is a good time to check out the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the game. Of course, there will likely be a patch to fix the PC and PlayStation 4 versions, but most of us will have to wait another two years for it in order to play the PC version properly.
You see, Deathloop isn’t really a PC or Xbox One game, it’s a PC and PlayStation 4 version of a game that is completely separate from the PC and Xbox One versions. The Xbox One version of the game will be free, but you’ll be paying for the PlayStation 4 version.
Okay, I realize it’s a stretch to call this a “bank holiday”, but I do have to call it an “event.” It’s the first weekend of December, and the PC version will be free. (I dont know why they would have it free, but that’s the way it works).
It could be a holiday, I could be wrong. I just think its the holiday that we all want to be a part of.
Its a really good holiday, but it’s not the holiday I would be spending my money on.
The PC version of Deathloop is free because it’s the first game in a series that’s been around since 1998. It’s been around long enough to be free, and I don’t think it’s that hard to believe that there are a lot of people out there who want to play a game that’s been around since so long.
