I have been asked several times for this recipe in hindi for some reason. I am not sure why I am being asked, but it is a beautiful recipe and I hope people enjoy it as much as I do.
I am going to do a little bit of a disclaimer here and say that I do not speak for all the Indian people who cook or bake. In fact, I have no idea if ghalib is actually a traditional dish in India. I had some friends who were kind enough to show me some traditional recipes and, well… they didn’t look very appetizing. But they were really quite interesting.
I don’t know what it is that makes Indian people so fascinated by the culinary arts, but I can’t imagine that many people here in America love ghalib the way that I love it. In America, we’d probably just eat it and not cook it, which would be a shame.
Ghalibs are a kind of curry made of a combination of lentils and gingerroot. It’s usually served with rice and some sort of lentil/vegetable/grain side. The one I had was a kind of meat curry, with chicken instead of chicken thigh. I think I’m going to go with red lentils and sautéed onions and a bit of ginger now.
In India, ghalib is served at all sorts of other things. I think it is the national dish of Punjab, which is the state in Pakistan. The curry is said to be very similar to the one we would buy in Mexico. It is so good though that there are probably a lot of people who like ghalib.
It’s a very strange dish. It’s a bit similar to what we would eat at our house in America. We have a lot of our meals in our house in Mexico. All the food is very similar. There are a lot of different kinds of beans, and even in the states, there are different kinds of beans.
This seems to be one of the main reasons why ghalib is so popular. People can’t get enough of the Indian curry. It is, without question, one of the most delicious and complex dishes ever to be created. But it is also extremely labor intensive and requires a lot of time and patience. So many people, including you, are likely to make ghalib at home. Or you could just go to a restaurant.
The food is good, but the labor is not. I love ghalib, but I cannot get enough of it. Even though I am from the US and will be seeing Indian food for the first time ever, I cant get enough of it. You cannot get enough of it.
