If you are anything like me, you probably don’t think about the past or future very often.
The past is not something you can just “be” or “not”. You have to be present in the now.
Well, you are right. For the most part, it is important to take care of ourselves. We need to have goals, to set some expectations for ourselves, and to be fully present in our current lives. But sometimes we overdo it. We take too much for granted, and forget our goals and expectations. A good example of this is when you go to the gym. Unless you pay your membership, you cant just check out at the end of the day.
It’s good to be mindful of yourself. But you have to be mindful of others. We cannot be fully present in the present if we try to be fully present in the past. If you’re going to be present with a meal, you have to be present with the food. If you’re going to be present with a goal, you have to be present with the goal.
Glow up is an exercise that puts you in a state of mind that has you focused on the present moment. It’s like a mini-meditation, and it helps you focus on things that take your mind off the “dangers” of the moment. If you’re thinking about the future, or even the past, you’re focusing on the “now” and everything you do is a reaction to the now.

For some people, its something they do every day. For others, it’s a little more frequent. Its fun to see how it can be used for more than just meditating. It can help you stay on task, get in the zone, and focus your mind on something other than the immediacy of the moment.
Glow isn’t just another meditation app, it’s a tool that can help you get in an altered state of mind that allows you to focus your attention on something other than your breathing. Its like a mini-meditation but instead of focusing on your breathing which is hard, its focusing on your glow which is easy.
Glow can be used as a meditation tool, but if you want to get into a specific altered state of consciousness, its probably the best one for you. If you are looking for something along the lines of meditation that helps you focus your attention on something else, you may want to try a different app, but Glow is the best one I’ve found.
