If the universe can’t tell us that we are special, how can the universe be able to find us? We are the universe looking for us. And if we can figure this much out, we are special, special enough that we matter.
The universe has no idea that we matter to it. But we matter so we have to show ourselves to it. We have to find the stars, which we can do with some help from the universe. So in a way, all the awards are just a way to show us that we matter and that we matter to the universe.
