The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.

As a matter of fact, we are! In that way it’s the opposite of autopilot. We don’t even know what we’re doing. We just kind of just go with it.
Our brains are what make us aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions. Without our brains, there’s no self-awareness. We basically just go with the flow and let our heads wander as we do.
So what exactly is self-awareness? It’s like being in a time loop. We know when we’re in a time loop, but we don’t even know how long we’ve been in it. And when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we just hit the bottle and dont look back.
Self-awareness and awareness are two different things. Self-awareness is when our conscious mind realizes that we have a mental body and we know we have preferences and preferences that we dont know about. For example, someone who has a high-five habit might think of a high-five as a reward, not a habit. So self-awareness would be realizing you have a preference and choosing it over other things.
The reason why people who do not think of them as good is because they don’t know why they’re good. They think that the world’s a pretty fucked up place where they should be better suited than they are.
My theory about this is that some people get this impression because they are not aware of their own preferences and preferences are not reflected in their behaviors. So if someone is aware of themselves, they might be able to better reflect on their own behaviors.
One example of this is the fact that your body is the interface between you and your environment. You have to wear a shirt to work, and you can’t wear a shirt to school because it’s against rules. It’s like wearing a hat doesn’t mean I’m a fan of it, it just means that I don’t like the hat, but I do like my other style. The same goes with tattoos.
