One of the things I learned from watching the movies where we see people falling into a circle is that we want to be good. It’s a game where you either want to be good, or you don’t, but in some cases you don’t. Sometimes there is an attempt to change your behavior to go on with your life, or you’re trying to change your behaviour to be good and you try to do that.
We all want to be good, but we all have a little bit of bad. What makes us different from one another is what makes us good. That is the part where we try to change our behavior to be good and we try to do that, but it fails because we dont actually try to change our behavior.
I think it goes back to the question of whether we actually want to change our behavior. If we try hard enough, maybe we can, but not if we just try to do it. If we just try to do what we want to do, we will find that we do not want to do that. So we try to do what we want to do, and we do not want to do that.
So what do we do about bad thoughts and bad habits? We have self-awareness, but we don’t use it. We do not use it because it is not working for us. We use it because we have to.
We are the ones that have to use it. So we can either do what we want to do or not, or we can accept that and either go about living our lives or go about not living our lives.
