This is my number two piece of advice that you should always take from my blog. I’m not saying that it’s perfect, but it’s definitely the most popular way to incorporate spring flavors into your cooking.
Varalaxmi is a delicious treat that’s been around for ages but is pretty trendy these days. The name comes from a Sanskrit word meaning “spring-green” and the food is a combination of yogurt, mango, and cilantro. But I like to think of it as the spring version of kohlrabi. I tried it once and it was really good. The taste is very similar to kohlrabi, but has a slightly sweeter bite.
It’s a very easy treat and if you eat it you can feel great. So if you want to have fun with fresh spring flavors, this is the way to go. You can even use it to make a smoothie. This recipe is from my friend Karthik Sreepuram.
If you like to eat things that are fun to eat, then this is the recipe for you. The first ingredient is fresh cilantro. The second is fresh mango. The third ingredient is fresh yogurt. This is the most complex recipe that I have come across. It requires a lot of time and patience to make a smoothie that tastes really good.
This recipe is a little tricky. It uses a lot of ingredients, and I can’t get the mango to fit in my mouth. But it makes for a tasty fruit salad and mango jam that is easy to make.
The first thing you have to do is remove the seeds from the mango. Then you need to add the mango flesh to the yogurt. After that, you need to add the cilantro. Once that’s done, you want to add the mango pulp to the yogurt. When you’ve finished the final components, you can add the remaining mango to the yogurt. The smoothie is ready and tastes really good.
I love the fact that the whole process only takes about an hour. The ingredients are really simple and the fruits are perfectly ripe. I think that mangoes are underrated, and this smoothie adds to that feeling.

The recipe for varalaxmi pooja is here, but I don’t think I can really say the same thing about this one. Its not as smooth as the original but the flavor is just as good, if not better. The original recipe called for a lot of sugar, which I don’t like that much in smoothies. Although the new recipe really uses lemongrass for the flavor and other ingredients are mostly lemon and lemongrass.
The flavor is quite different from the original recipe, I did not find lemongrass to be strong enough in this recipe. I would recommend getting Leongrass lemongrass for this recipe, which is a wonderful herb.
